Founded in 2021 with the American tenor Shawn Mlynek, who has sung at Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center. A recital that walks from Dowland's madrigals through Monteverdi and Beethoven and ends, without apology, in arrangements of pop and rock from the fifties and sixties.
Founded with the Sardinian flautist Angelica Perra and active for more than ten years. Danze dal Mondo is a programme of dance traditions rearranged for flute and harp: modern Celtic reels and suites, lively South American rhythms, Eastern European dances and gentle Asian melodies, and, closer to home, pieces by Sardinian composers written expressly for the duo.
A trio of harps, built with her Brussels teacher and a colleague, that lets the great symphonic scores echo back on strings: an orchestra rewritten for three harps. The programme Danza travels from Albéniz and Ginastera to Khachaturian, Ravel, Shostakovich and Del Aguila, with a cardboard Pop'Harpe sometimes standing among them.
A duo with the Argentine soprano María Belén Fos that takes historic vocal repertoire apart: sampling, re-layering, and putting the harp between a live voice and a synthetic one.
